A sweeping arc of 30 Grade I listed Georgian townhouses designed by John Wood the Younger, built 1767-1774. The full 150-metre curved facade of honey-coloured Bath stone is visible in a single composition from the lawn — 114 Ionic columns in giant order creating a rhythmic, deeply textured elevation. The lawn slopes gently south towards Royal Victoria Park, separated by a traditional ha-ha ditch that preserves the unbroken sight line. Bath stone glows warm in low light; golden-hour light in late afternoon is particularly cinematic. The lawn is flat grass — ideal for tripod setups, dolly tracks, or crew staging. Aerial compositions capture the full geometric sweep. For street-level work, Brock Street at the eastern end offers perspective-compressed shots down the row. The crescent facade has appeared as the Featherington house in Bridgerton. Commercial filming requires coordination through Bath Film Office.
